As Chairman, and with many years' experience behind him, Michael controls the overall direction of the Europlan group. Michael graduated from Edinburgh University in 1969 with a degree in Physics. He captained the university fencing team and was awarded a blue. After this, he joined Edinburgh Fund Managers Limited and Eastern General Holdings Limited as a fund manager. He was a founder director of Damian Investment Trust Limited, a publicly listed investment company before becoming a director and shareholder of Europlan in 1975. In his spare time, Michael races vintage cars. |
