Andrew is a Director of Europlan Fund Administrators Limited, our Corporate service vehicle.
He was educated in the UK and returned to Jersey in 1985 when he joined Coutts (Jersey) Limited. He has also worked for Ernst & Young, Kleinwort Benson and prior to joining Europlan Fund Administrators Limited he was the Managing Director of Ipes (Jersey) Limited.
Andrew has in excess of 25 years experience in the Jersey Finance Sector specialising in corporate and fund structures.
Andrew has held a number of high profile directorships sitting on the boards of the General Partner of both Private Equity and Mezzanine structures.
His principal areas of interest are offshore structuring and administration of private equity, mezzanine, fund of funds and corporate structures. Andrew takes an active part and has sat on the committee of the Jersey Funds Association since 2004.
Andrew is a member of and regularly plays golf at the Royal Jersey Golf Club.
As Chairman, and with many years' experience behind him, Michael controls the overall direction of the Europlan Group.
Michael graduated from Edinburgh University in 1969 with a degree in Physics. He captained the university fencing team and was awarded a blue. After this, he joined Edinburgh Fund Managers Limited and Eastern General Holdings Limited as a fund manager. He was a founder director of Damian Investment Trust Limited, a publicly listed investment company before becoming a director and shareholder of Europlan in 1975.
Michael is currently on the board of a number of US based Hedge funds.
Michael has been a fellow of the Institute of Directors since December 1984 and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners since 1997.
In his spare time, Michael races vintage cars.
As Managing Director, Ben looks after the operational side of the Europlan Group. He is responsible for ensuring that the Group's vision as a provider of financial services to international clients is constantly achieved.
Ben trained in both audit and tax with Touche Ross & Co. in Jersey. After qualifying, he spent two years travelling the world before spending a number of years working with a leading offshore financial service provider. In 1999, Ben joined the Europlan Group as Financial controller.
Ben became a Director of Europlan Financial Services Limited in 2000, and a shareholder of Europlan Continuation Limited in 2001.
Away from the office, Ben likes spending time with his family. As a keen rugby follower and rugby academy coach, he enjoys keeping fit by rowing and cycling and, when time and weather permits, playing tennis.
As Director in charge of Client Accounting, Eleanor looks after all aspects of client accounting and financial reporting.
Eleanor trained with Ernst & Young in Jersey. After qualifying, she spent a number of years working for the Europlan Group as Finance Director before taking extended leave in 1987. She rejoined the Group in 1999 as head of client accounting.
Eleanor became a Director of Europlan Financial Services Limited in 2002.
Away from the office, Eleanor enjoys spending time with her family at their house in France.
As Client Accounting Manager, Julie is responsible for preparing the Group’s management and year end accounts as well as some client accounts. She also oversees the bookkeeping department.
Julie trained with Deloitte Haskins and Sells in Leeds. After qualifying in 1989, she transferred to their Jersey office and spent five years in their audit department. That was followed by a short spell as a fund accountant before she joined a major law firm in the Island and managed an employee benefits scheme administration group in their trust company for ten years.
Julie joined Europlan Financial Services Limited in 2006.
Away from the office, Julie is involved in her local church and enjoys Aquafit.
As a Senior Fund Accountant, Adam is responsible for ongoing client accounting and administration, with a particular focus on corporate structures.
After reading Materials Engineering at the University of Leeds, he returned to Jersey in 2001 and trained as a Chartered Certified Accountant. During the past 10 years Adam has gained considerable experience working in specialist accounting and administration fields including Private Equity, Real Estate and Distressed Debt Structures.
Previously, he worked for Moore Management Services Limited and Moore Stephens, Chartered Accountants.
In his spare time Adam enjoys walking, reading and current affairs. He is also a fanatical golfer and can regularly be found at the Royal Jersey Golf Club where he is a member.
Mark has been appointed as Senior Manager with responsibility for ongoing client administration at EFA.
After completing an MSc in Corporate Governance and ICSA Professional at Bournemouth University in 2007 he spent 1 year on a travelling honeymoon before returning to the Island in 2008 to work for Standard Bank with responsibility for the real estate and alternative asset class fund administration teams.
Since 2000 Mark has gained considerable experience working with Abacus, The Royal Bank of Canada and Northern Trust in a number of fund administration fields including Private Equity, Real Estate and Distressed Debt Structures.
Away from the office Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and dog. He plays football and is a management committee member at Grouville FC as well as playing volleyball for the current Channel Islands Champions. Sandkickers.
